Photography, one of the means of artistic expression, has been interpreted and valued in a variety of ways, and HOKKAIDO PHOTO FESTA aims to be a platform for expanding its possibilities. We offer a number of educational programs for aspiring photographers in Hokkaido and other regional cities in Japan. Our goal is to be a base for continuous training of photographers, including follow-up from the start-up stage. Today, thanks to the Internet environment, photographers can access and transmit their work to the world from many different locations. We are preparing to become a window to this world.
We believe that the materiality of "photography" is important even in this age of access to a wide range of information and opportunities through the Internet environment. We hope that HOKKAIDO PHOTO FESTA will serve as a platform for education and exchange in the field of "photography" in Hokkaido, and that it will lead to a variety of creative activities.
