Vent Calmoso
Setting out on a journey and taking photographs means to carve into myself the deep impressions I receive from various encounters. This camera, well-worn in my hands, has a 35mm wide-angle lens. When I first set foot in an unfamiliar town, I take in the light, the wind and the air with my whole body, more so than the landscape before my eyes. Then I start walking. When travelling, I often chance upon weddings or funerals. I especially love the sight of a happy bride at a wedding. Intoxicated at times, or perhaps dancing, when I press the shutter button. Photographs need no explaining. I know that photographs are much more loquacious and free than we think.
