Time of Nothing

Time of Nothing

Jim MANGAN

Publisher: SILENT SOUND

Unlike his trilogy on the subject of rebirth where people were given a central place within nature, Mangan now focuses on the whims of nature itself. The photographer explored The Great Salt Lake (Utah) from a single engine Cessna plane. The entire project was shot with 35mm film from approximately 500 feet high and gives the audience a non-conventional view of the world, not appearing to be taken from a plane.
