San_kaku
San-kaku (jap.: “triangle”) is Fumio Iwaki’s debut photobook, for which he photographed his wife over a period of six years.
“What else to photograph other than the person who lives with me? If I couldn’t even photograph the person who lives with me then I couldn’t photograph anything else either. I might have been happier if I could have related to my wife straight-forwardly, without taking photographs at all. But that wasn’t an option.”
