This catalogue was published on occasion of the 2017 exhibition at Taka Ishii Gallery in Tokyo.

The book reproduces the brick paintings that form the foundation of Taniguchi’s work as well as exhibition space and the sculptures which are a reflection, perhaps refraction, of Taniguchi’s paintings. An essay (in English and Japanese) by curator Susan Gibb, who has followed Taniguchi’s career and her evolution as an artist, forms part of this publication.
