This catalogue was published to accompany Wolfgang Tillmans’s 2018 Kaiserring Goslar Award exhibition. The award is one of the most renowned art prizes in Germany; the jury decided to award Tillmans for his “exceptional work, its dialectic between poetry and disillusionment, and its bold exploration of the boundaries of the medium photography.”
The catalogue includes texts by Wulf Herzogenrath and Marion Ackermann in German and English translation.
