Japanscapes
Toshio Shibata’s “Japanscapes”, published by Berlin-based publisher Velvet Cell, delivers a refreshing take on Japanese landscape photography. Borrowing influences and ideas from fields of architecture and even graphic design, Shibata traveled all over Japan to frame infrastructural scenes and objects in pleasing, interesting ways.
