An Album: The Everlasting Story
Shoji Ueda’s An Album: The Everlasting Story is a photobook created using negatives found by his family after his death. Taken in between 1935-1950, the photographs within this publication feature a series of images which focus on his wife of whom he married when she was 19 years of age. Here the images unfold a narrative of an enduring love, both mesmerising and distinct to Ueda’s life’s work.
