Shinzo SHIMAO

島尾伸三

Photographer and writer, born in 1948 and raised on Amami Oshima Island. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 1974 with a major in photography. Married Tokuko Ushioda in 1978. They live in China. They began reporting on the lives of ordinary people in Hong Kong, and continue to do so to this day.
