Nippouren
Founded on November 3, 1951. It was established by the Mainichi Newspapers after a photograph taken by an amateur photographer who was present at the scene of the Sakuragicho accident on April 24 of the same year was published in the Mainichi Newspapers and made a special report. The board of directors at the time included Ken Domon, Ihei Kimura, and Yoshio Watanabe.
In 1967, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Photographic Society of Japan, and the organization was dissolved on March 31, 2021.
