Mirai-sha Publishers
Japanese academic publisher. A member company of the Japan Society for the Humanities. It publishes academic books in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Major fields include thought, folklore, religion, and education.
Founded in 1951 by Yoshio Nishitani. When it started out, it was known as a publisher in the field of theater, including plays and their dramas. Later, it expanded the fields it handled as an academic publisher.
