Genkishobou

Genkishobou was founded by poet and writer Jun Henmi, who inherited the founding spirit of her father, Genyoshi Kadokawa, the founder of Kadokawa Shoten, and established this publishing house. The “Genki” in Genshi Shobo comes from the name of Genyoshi Kadokawa's home, which he called “Genki Sansho.
Genyoshi Kadokawa's ideal was to revitalize Japanese culture with August 15, 1945 as the starting point, and his goal was to embody the spirit of Plato and eventually publish a complete collection of Plato's works. Therefore, with the idea of creating books that are useful for “human education” and artistic books, we launched Genki Shobo and aim to publish books that are devoted to the basics of publishing culture.
