TSAO Liang-Pin
曹良賓
Born and raised in Taiwan, Liang-Pin Tsao is an artist currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. He holds an MFA degree from Pratt Institute and his works have been exhibited internationally. Liang is the recipient of Residency Unlimited Artist-In-Residency Program sponsored by the Ministry of Culture Taiwan, Pak-Hing Kan Arts Grant, and scholarship from Pratt Institute among others. Additionally, Liang devotes himself to lectures, workshops and curatorial affairs, and has been invited by Taipei Fine Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei, Taipei Artist Village among others.
He publishes his first photography monograph, SOJOURN, sponsored by National Culture and Arts Foundation in 2015. Liang launches a symposium project, PHOTO TALKS, to help promote contemporary photography. In 2016, he establishes a non-for-profit photography library in Taipei, aiming to collect Taiwanese photography publications, which is free and open to all.
