Japanese floral designer and photographer. With his partner, Makoto Azuma, he runs Jardin des Fleurs, a florist in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo, which is known as an ‘haute couture florist’. In recent years, he has also worked as a photographer.
Born 1976 in Fukuoka Prefecture, she opened the florist Jardin des Fleurs in 2002 with florist Azuma Makoto in the Komatsu Building in Ginza, and now has a shop in Minami Aoyama. While working as a florist, she continued to take photographs of her partner Makoto Azuma's work and is now highly regarded as a photographer who captures the mystery and instantaneous beauty of flowers and plants, for magazine covers and serials. In his day job as a florist, he also works as a school instructor. Her free and open lessons, coupled with her proven skills and her own personality, attract an endless number of applicants from home and abroad.
