I believe black-and-white photographs reflect more mystery than those of colour photographs. It's easy to see the light and shadow in our life. Pursuing a simple and minimalist composition in my work, I feel black-and-white images sometimes express a kind of superrealism, reflecting a strong sense of beauty after the colour has faded.
