Born in Aomori in 1955. In 1976, he studied photography at the Hosoe School (3rd term) of the “WORK SHOP 写真学校” and later participated in the “CAMP” program. He joined “CAMP” and began photographing the Tohoku region including his hometown Hachinohe around 1980, opened the gallery “北点” in Hachinohe in 1988, joined the management of “Place M” in 1995, participated in the establishment of “3.11を忘れない写真家の会” in 2014, and passed away suddenly in 2016. 60 years later, he passed away suddenly. His photo collections include “北斗の街 遡上の光景” “残りの花” and “North Point.
