Hiroshi TAKIZAWA
滝沢広
Born in Saitama, Japan in 1983. After majoring in psychology at university, he began showing works using photography. Many of the subjects of his works are stones, rocks, concrete, and other textures that have changed over the years, and he creates massive, material images by layering, cutting, and crumpling the prints, or by re-photographing scanned prints. The artist's work is based on the material attributes of the subject itself, and creates a profoundly material image.
