Born in 1982 in Toyama Prefecture, Nosaku founded Fuminori Nosaku Architects in 2010. His activities include architectural design, art works, installations, renovations, and essay writing, as well as research on architecture, cities, and ecosystems in collaboration with university research laboratories. He received his master's degree in architecture from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2007, and his doctorate in engineering in 2012. His major works include “Guesthouse in Takaoka” (collaboration with Junpei Nosaku) and “Ana in Nishioi” (collaboration with Mio Tsuneyama), and he is the author of “WindowScape: The Study of Window Behavior” (co-author, Film Art Inc.) and “Wild Edifice” (LIXIL Publications).
