CHEN Zhe is a photo-based artist brought up in Beijing, China. current ly living in Los Angels.
CHEN Zhehas created a series of projects focusing in body modification, human hair, identity of disaffected Chinese. The difficult nature of her subject is made more complex byCHEN Zhe's lyrical approach, identifing the physical self-destruction of her subjects as an act of spiritual cleaning.
